Job Overview
The Data Entry Specialist will provide office operations support to the Recruiting Office for the United States Coast Guard with a focus on day-to-day recruiting operations. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is the maritime security, search and rescue, and law enforcement service branch of the United States Armed Forces and one of the country's eight uniformed services.
Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a relevant field (requirement may be waived if relevant experience is directly connected to Government experience)
• 3 years of experience in clerical, administrative skill with exceptional organizational skills
• Be able to function in a team environment, and responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions
• Fluent and proficient in English
• Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite of Products, Apps, and Services, including, but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and with Adobe forms

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Provide office operations support to the Recruiting Office with a focus on day-to-day recruiting operations, for example answering, directing an reporting incoming calls, managing calendars and schedules, drafting correspondences and filing
• Provide Office Performance Management support with a focus on tracking and reporting Recruiting Office performance
• Provide administrative support with the focus of reducing the Recruiting Office administrative burden
• Provide information technology support to include managing Microsoft Outlook calendars, operating and reporting information from current lead management/accession software solution (Gangway)
• Provide communications support to include maintaining distribution lists, developing flyers and posters, supporting recruiting events and posting on social media.
