Fremont Hospital is Hiring a Director of Utilization Management - Full Time Near Fremont, CA

Responsibilities:
Come join our team and love what you do! We are currently hiring a full time Director of Utilization Management (UM) for Fremont Hospital! The UM Director is responsible for ensuring that the development, implementation and evaluation of department policies and procedures are in compliance with all corporate, JCAHO, federal, state and local regulations. The UM Director serves as a patient rights advocate for the facility. The UM Director oversees and manages the U.M. staff. The UM Director maintains a productive, professional relationship with the medical staff, management team and all other departments. The UM Director performs other duties as assigned.

Fremont Hospital
is a fully accredited, 148-bed private inpatient psychiatric hospital providing quality care for children through adults. The facility provides a full assortment of care which includes assessments, inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, partial-hospitalization, intensive outpatient psychiatric treatment as well as chemical dependency outpatient care.

Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited RN Program or Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other Human Service field. Bachelors’ Degree in Nursing from an accredited school is preferred.

Experience:
Five years of clinical experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting is preferred. Prior experience in the utilization and review function is highly preferred. Previous management experience in supervision or administration is preferred.

Licensure/Certifications:
Licensure/Certifications: Currently maintains an active RN license, in good standing, issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing.

Additional Requirements:
Ability to work with child, adolescent, and adult populations as demonstrated through educational accomplishment or work experience. A working knowledge of JCAHO patient rights standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities relating to Patients rights and utilization review.
Salary: Starting from $130,000.00 to $145,000.00 a year
