Responsibilities:

Come join our team and love what you do! We are currently hiring a Director of Quality and Performance Improvement for Fremont Hospital! The Director of Quality and Performance Improvement develops, manages, and integrates the Quality Management/Performance Improvement program to ensure compliance with all accreditation and regulatory agencies including The Joint Commission (TJC), Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), California Department of Public Health (CDPH) as well as any other applicable state and federal laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities. Works as part of the leadership team to accelerate the measurable and continual progress in meeting the organization's quality objectives. Collaborate with System (UHS) Clinical leadership team to support hospital objectives.

Fremont Hospital is a fully accredited, 148-bed private inpatient psychiatric hospital providing quality care for children through adults. The facility provides a full assortment of care which includes assessments, inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, partial-hospitalization, intensive outpatient psychiatric treatment as well as chemical dependency outpatient care.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, behavioral health fields, management, public health, organizational leadership or related field required.

Experience:

Recent psychiatric hospital experience which includes experience in a role with leadership/supervisory responsibility, and experience in quality assessment and performance improvement
Experience in a clinical setting
Project management training or certification
Experience in lean and/or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification or experience in use of lean concepts
A strong knowledge of TJC, CMS, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Patient Rights standards.

Licensure/Certifications: Current California RN license or ability to obtain, preferred.

Salary: Starting from $60.96 to $78.00 an hour
