Fremont Hospital is Hiring a Director of Assessment and Referral - Full Time Near Fremont, CA

Responsibilities:

Come join our team and love what you do! We are currently hiring a Director of Assessment and Referral for Fremont Hospital! The Director of Assessment and Referral is accountable for directing the Assessment and Referral activities at the facility. As a clinician, this position provides direction to the staff of Assessment & Referral in the provision of psychiatric assessment services, including clinical evaluations, crisis intervention, and referrals. This position interfaces closely with the medical staff, fellow department heads and administration, treatment team, external case managers, managed care organizations, functions as a liaison with other hospital intake departments.


Fremont Hospital
is a fully accredited, 148-bed private inpatient psychiatric hospital providing quality care for children through adults. The facility provides a full assortment of care which includes assessments, inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, partial-hospitalization, intensive outpatient psychiatric treatment as well as chemical dependency outpatient care.

Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, mental health or a related field or equivalent work experience or licensed as a Registered Nurse.


Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting desirable. Working knowledge of the Addiction & Recovery field and experience in clinical interviewing, patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning, communicating with external review organizations or comparable entities, and working effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.


Licensure/Certifications:
R.N., L.C.S.W. or applicable license.
Salary: Starting from $145,000.00 to $160,000.00 a year
