Monday- Friday 6am-2:30pm

Here is what you will need:

• A minimum of one-year professional cooking experience, preferably in a health care setting
• Restaurant Cook experience, line cook, sous chef preferred 
• Excellent customer service skills essential
• Must be able to speak, read and write the English language
• Must have high school education or equivalent
• Must have ability to work independently, making sound decisions
• Must successfully pass organization required background screening
• Must successfully complete organization health screening requirements

Here is what you will do:

• Prepares menu items within allotted time period using appropriate standardized recipes.
• Assures optimal quality, temperature and appearance of meals.
• Adheres to special diet needs and is knowledgeable of allergen information.
• Adheres to food safety and workplace safety standards, policies and procedures as regulated by department.
• Ensures proper sanitation of kitchen and equipment following department standards, policies and procedures. Exercises proper use of all equipment.
• Follows uniform guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

We work with a vulnerable population, and to protect our residents, the COVID-19 vaccine, annual Influenza (Flu) vaccine, Drug Screen and Background Check are conditions of employment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Range: $19- 22 per hour

Part-time employees, scheduled to work less than 30 hours per week, will receive:
