```Job Summary```
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of commercial electrical construction projects and providing detailed proposals to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction estimating and project management.
```Responsibilities```
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with general contractors and vendors to gather necessary information for estimates
- Utilize software such as ConEst Intellibid, Excel and Bluebeam to create detailed take-offs and cost breakdowns
- Evaluate labor, material, and equipment costs to determine project expenses
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and general contractors to ensure competitive pricing
- Prepare and present proposals to clients, including detailed cost breakdowns and project timelines
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and make adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with the construction management team to ensure projects stay within budget
```Experience```
- Proven experience in commercial electrical construction estimating and project management
- Strong knowledge of contract documents, including plans, specifications, and scopes of work
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as ConEst Intellibid and Bluebeam
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to negotiate pricing with suppliers and general contractors
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of cost control methods in construction projects
