Our Team: We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Miss River Restaurant by Alon Shaya. Your Job: The Chef de Partie facilitates the preparation of food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards; place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service; -Trains, motivates, and supervises the work of kitchen employees ensuring that all cultural and core standards are met; -Operates, maintains and properly cleans kitchen equipment; -Assists in driving menu development and changes staying consistent with the kitchen concept. About You: An ideal candidate will have a high school education, cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience. Minimum two years culinary or related work experience. Advanced culinary knowledge is expected for this position. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job. Ability to operate, maintain and properly clean deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, flat top grill. Proficient knife skills and ability to multi-task.
