Are you ready to take the next big step in your hospitality career? Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe is seeking a dynamic individual for Cook I.

An individual who shares our passion for achieving service excellence and infuses enthusiasm into everything he / she does!

  • 3- 4 years of experience in similar kitchen / hotel operation.
  • High school education, cooking school or culinary institute education preferred.
  • Run the day to day operation of assigned station in the kitchen
  • Complete missed place and set up station for breakfast, lunch, and / or dinner service.
  • We’re for looking for a genuine caring and compassionate individual with a passion for hospitality that possess integrity and accountability
  • Act as a liaison between the line-staff and kitchen management to insure the kitchen staff is operating in at the expected level set by the Resort Culinary Management.
  • Assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems; control food waste, loss and usage per policies.
  • Return all food items not used to designated storage
  • An individual who let’s their personality shine through and can be themselves.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities. This may include some evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • This position requires the ability to lift up to 40lb.
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
  • Proficiency in English

The Cook 1 is an essential member of the Food & Beverage culinary team. The Cook 1 prepares a consistent breakfast, lunch and / or dinner per guest orders from all outlets in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.

The Kitchen presents and endless amount of opportunities of learning and growth for line cook positions of all levels.

  • Complete mis en place and set up stations.
  • Effectively operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment.
  • Act as a liaison between the line-staff and kitchen management to insure the kitchen staff is operating at the expected level set by the resort culinary management.
