We are seeking an 11pm - 7am Nurse Supervisor to join our team.

Requirements:

· Must possess, a RN or LPN Florida License.

· Must have, as a minimum, one (1) year(s) of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility.

· Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.

· Must posses and maintain a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state.

· Must possess and maintain a current “Eligible’ AHCA Background Screening Status

· Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Job Duties:

· Assist the Assistant Director of Nursing in directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department, in accordance with current rules, regulation, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.

· Ensure that a sufficient number of licensed practical and/or registered nurses are available for each tour of duty to ensure that quality care is maintained.

· Ensure that a sufficient number of certified nursing assistants are available for each tour of duty to ensure that routine nursing care is provided to meet the daily nursing care needs of each resident.

· Develop work assignments, and/or assist in completing and performing such tasks.

· Delegate to each Charge Nurse the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform their assigned duties.

· Make daily rounds of the nursing service department to ensure that all nursing personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards and report findings to Director.

· Monitor absenteeism to ensure that an adequate number of nursing care personnel arc on duty at all times. Report problem areas to the Director.

· Inform nursing service personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc.

· Ensure that rooms are ready for new admissions.

· Greet newly admitted residents upon admission and escort them to their rooms as necessary.

· Make rounds with physicians as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
