Fortified Roofing & Siding is Hiring an Outside Sales Representative Near Columbia, MO

Overview:
Fortified Roofing & Siding is looking for top performers to join our sales team! We have an opening for a sales professional based in Columbia, MO. Experience in property inspections and estimating residential roofing, siding, and gutters is preferred but not required.

An ideal candidate will have a good understanding of their local market. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets. You will also need to navigate the sales cycle while acquiring homeowners' trust and business. An excellent candidate can service the customers’ wants and needs while maintaining a high level of communication and organization. Overall, this role is focused on bringing opportunities to the company.

Average Day

The majority of your day-to-day responsibilities will be to serve as a consultant assessing customers' needs, recommending products, and developing estimates. Projects are often restoration work which entails working with insurance to restore damaged trades such as roofs, siding, gutters, soffit, fascia, and windows. Other customers are looking for updating renovations to their existing home, your responsibility is to guide them through the multiple options to find the best solution for their home. Throughout the sales process you are also ensuring customer satisfaction through constant communication.

· Your primary responsibility is to represent Fortified with the highest degree of professionalism, punctuality, and integrity while providing our customers with respect, honesty, and the highest level of customer service.

· Run leads provided

· Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking

· Perform roof and attic inspections to determine customers roof needs

· Provide estimates for customers during the appointment

· Follow up with past customers

· Highly detail oriented and organized

· Great communication skills

· Outgoing personality

· Strong work ethic

· Keep in contact with current customers

· Work alongside the production team to ensure they are able to complete projects you have sold

· Roofing, siding, and gutters knowledge is preferred but not required

· Willing and able to travel to customer locations in order to manage the sales, construction, and collection cycles.

This role requires frequent standing, walking, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and the following

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Must be able to climb stairs and ladders

· Must be able to work in hot, cold, humid and/or rainy weather conditions

Experience:
- Outside sales experience preferred
- Strong account management and business development skills
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Proficiency in using computers, iPad and CRM software
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

Benefits:

Pay: $68,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
