Role Description

As an Operations Program Manager at Form Energy, you'll report to the Manager of Operations Program Management within the Manufacturing Operations Organization. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing the successful completion of large-scale, cross-functional programs critical to Form Energy's manufacturing scale-up initiatives. Acting as a liaison between the Manufacturing Engineering Teams and the Operations Team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely Start of Production for new manufacturing operation lines and facilitating the smooth introduction of New Product Introductions (NPI) onto those lines. What you'll do:

• Successfully lead complex, high-impact cross-functional programs to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget specifically around manufacturing scale-up initiatives

• Serve as a key member in defining and implementing processes to build operational excellence within Form Energy, setting the standard for efficiency and effectiveness.

• Enhance visibility and foster consensus among a broad group of stakeholders, including but not limited to manufacturing engineering, process engineering, construction, procurement, operations, facilities, recruiting, supply chain, and production planning.

• Organize and conduct program meetings, establish clear communication channels, engage both internal and external stakeholders, document action items, and deliver comprehensive program reports to both management and stakeholders.

• Oversee project progress, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, and make necessary adjustments to plans to adhere to deadlines and budget constraints.

• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, actively encouraging innovative solutions and constructive feedback from all levels of the team.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with essential stakeholders, particularly within the production team, to ensure goals are aligned and operations are transparent.

What you'll bring:

• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated success in managing cross-functional and complex programs, products, or projects within dynamic manufacturing environments.

• Proven experience in leading large teams (20 ) across functions, with the ability to effectively manage and coordinate diverse groups.

• Strong prioritization, organizational, and execution skills in fast-paced and ambiguous settings.

• Enthusiasm and drive to spearhead critical initiatives, whether broad or narrow in scope, to successful completion.

• Excellent communication and influencing abilities, including the capability to deliver compelling presentations and updates to executive-level stakeholders.

• Track record of involvement in launching novel manufacturing operations lines or establishing new factories.

• Positive mindset coupled with a genuine passion for advancing manufacturing infrastructure.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Previous experience at a battery startup would be advantageous.
