Fore Property Company a privately held and growing multi-family developer and builder is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our new projects in the Portland, OR market.

Fore Construction Assistant Project Managers are an integral part of the on-site construction team, helping to manage the flow of information between the Fore team. Applicants need to be comfortable using an electronic platform for tracking and distributing plans, RFI’s and submittals, change orders, and subcontract related documentation. Assistant PM’s will assist the on-site Project Manager with a variety of day to day tasks such as contract preparation, change order documentation, direct material procurement, subcontractor delivery scheduling and coordination, and quality control management.

Primary Responsibilities

• Management of RFI and submittal logs for due dates, status, and distribution of approved documents
• Management of construction documents: Maintain the current set of construction drawings electronically and on-site hard copy
• Update and distribute meeting minutes for weekly coordination meetings
• Assist project manager with day to day tasks
• Assist project superintendent with quality control documentation and organization
• Assist project superintendent with subcontractor scheduling / coordination
• Track and distribute punch work lists at project completion

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in multi-family apartment construction management required.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably with coursework in construction, engineering or related fields.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task while leading meetings, delivering reports, submittals, maintaining sub list, subcontracts, schedules, change orders, insurance, material procurement, logistics, closeouts, etc.
• Strong technical understanding of construction, architectural design, and engineering.
• Strong abilities with Excel and MS Project or other similar project management software.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
