Pay Rate: $16.00- $17.00 PER HOUR

• Dishwashers create a welcome and tidy environment for customers. Cleans, sanitizing, stocking all dishes, as well as assisting the head chef in tasks related to the kitchen needs. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to, disposal of trash and glassware, as well as light prep.

Requirements

Essential Functions

• Greet customers in a welcoming manner.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Washes and sanitizes tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment.
• Keeps the dish area and equipment clean and organized.
• Able to perform assembling and disassembling of the dish washing machine. Keeps the dish machine clean and reports any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
• Monitors dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle. Ensures dish machine water is changed every hour or as needed.
• Organizes and stores all flatware and glassware.
• Assists Line cooks in putting away kitchen deliveries.
• Separates glass and trash & disposes in dumpsters at designed times.
• Has clear knowledge of three compartment sink system.
• Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Available to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Requires regular and consistent attendance.
• Ability to communicate with all ages, genders, and personalities. Ability to effectively and regularly converse in and comprehend in English.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Requires the ability to occasionally lift and clean popcorn kettle, shelving, warmers, butter machines, hot dog and other food preparation equipment, and soft drink equipment.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Stock shelves, counters with incoming product, plates, cups, dinning ware etc.
• Must complete a Safe Beverage Service and Food Handlers training program and meet the age requirement for alcohol service is required.

Work Environment

This job operates in a movie theater and restaurant environment, sometimes the theater is with limited lighting, with guests coming and going. The pace can be fast, but must always be welcoming. And willing to serve our guests! This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and lifting all day. Must be able to frequently lift, push, pull at least 50 pounds.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or G.E.D., or currently enrolled

Previous retail, restaurant or customer service experience preferred.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance
