Summary of Responsibilities

Executive, professional, technical, and non-exempt employee recruiting including college/university recruiting. The recruiting manager oversees the identification of potential candidates, interviewing, selection, and placement of candidates for employment. 

 They will ensure recruiting strategy, methodology, and processes are aligned with the Company’s talent strategy and desired employee capabilities/skills. 

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

• Managers client relationships and plan recruiting events.
• Assists recruiters with creating and documenting recruiting processes to educate, consult and manage clients through processes and procedures.
• Monitor new hire process by screening and interviewing potential candidates, ensuring interviewers participated in interviewer training, conducting interviewer training, monitoring applicant offers, negotiating applicant offers and making applicant offers, when necessary
• Owns the communication and workflow of working with hiring managers and IT to ensure smooth onboarding and placement of new hires.
• Counsel recruiters when needed by using career mapping and other tools; conduct exit interviews when necessary.
• Research and gather information on competitors.
• Reviews industry trends and market salary structures.

Qualifications

Training/Experience:

• Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline. Generally, 3-8 years of experience in related field; certification is required in some areas or MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in related field. Certification is required in some areas.

Problem Complexity:

• Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information, inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.

Autonomy:

Nature of work requires increasing independence and/or team environment; receives guidance only on complex problems or issues. Work review involves periodic review of output by supervisor.

Leadership:

May provide general guidance/direction to or train senior-level.

Environmental Job Requirements

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
