POSITION SUMMARY:
The Superintendent is responsible for managing each project from conception to completion in a way that embodies the Florida Roofing and Gutters core values. This includes managing the client experience, making sure that all facets of the project including team members, materials, blueprint reading, scheduling, permitting, estimating, staffing, budget adherence, change orders, subcontractors, vendors, value engineering, job site and team member safety and all other aspects of the project align with the core values. The Superindentent will be the central point of contact for secured project clients, field team members, architects, designers, and vendors. The Superindentent is responsible for field talent recruitment, development, continuing education, team member adherence, understanding, education and regular re-enforcement of all OSHA and company safety standards including but not limited to team members, tools, vehicles, operations, and job sites. The Superintendent and their team in the field work in conjunction with all other departments to ensure that FRG is constantly improving, expanding, the brand and mission of FRG and the core values. Will exemplify the company core values of safety, integrity, quality, and ownership in all aspects of conduct and job performance and be keenly aware of his position as a FRG brand ambassador both on and off the job
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Project management from inception to completion of project
Project Schedule including all phases of construction, labor, subcontractors, and material ordering and delivery
Labor scheduling of both FRG Employees and sub-contractors
Project Material Order Lists
Assignment of FRG Team members and subcontractors to projects
Prints safety meeting reports for Monday all employee meeting
Make sure all subcontractors have subcontractor agreement, workman’s comp and liability insurance up to date and on file.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Tools:
Is highly skilled at supervision of trades, subcontractors, and team members
Has an advanced, broad knowledge of general construction
Is very experienced in scheduling, projection, and management of all phases of construction
Excellent at estimating, material takeoff, material ordering, and scheduling
Is comfortable with confrontation, correction, and is highly skilled at problem solving
Highly organized
Excellent written, oral, telephone, computer and in person communication skills
Great at mediation of human and job site issues
Fluent in Technology, able to learn new technology
Excellent time manager
Excels at multitasking
Able to read blue prints and perform layout
Trained to respond to emergency service work of fire, water and mold
Maintain positive work atmosphere
Knowledge of general construction
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly job site
Must be OSHA 30 Hour certified

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
