Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
• Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any financial discrepancies or issues.
• Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings.
• Support the financial audit process as needed.
• Stay informed about changes in accounting principles and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Proven experience as an accountant or bookkeeper, preferably in the construction or related industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Knowledge of Florida tax laws and regulations is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
