Florida Digestive Health Specialists, LLP

Florida Digestive Health Specialists, LLP is a premier gastroenterology network serving patients at 25 care centers throughout Florida. As we expand our reach, we seek a licensed ARNP or PA to provide our patients with personalized care at every interaction. The person in this role will work alongside our nationally acclaimed physicians and staff in a patient-focused, compassionate setting. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide care to gastroenterology patients by developing diagnoses, establishing patient care objectives, noting changing conditions and needs, providing treatments and services involving disorders and conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, and collaborating with physicians.
  • Develop patient care plans by reviewing patients’ medical histories, documenting physical and psychological conditions, and influencing social factors, conferring with family and friends, developing a diagnosis, and defining interventions, schedules, and timetables.
  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy patient care environments by following infection control procedures, medication administration, storage protocols, and controlled substance regulations while adhering to professional, legal, and organizational policies.
  • Improve job knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies.

Qualifications:

  • Active license in good standing with the state of Florida
  • Familiarity with EHR medical charting systems
  • Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology

One or more years of experience in the gastroenterology specialty preferred
