FloorMax USA is Hiring a Project Coordinator Near Harrisburg, PA

POSITION OVERVIEW: The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in project coordination within the flooring or construction industry, with a focus on managing the administration of projects from conception to completion and provide support to our field project managers. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Project Planning and Schedule:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, specifications, and timelines.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with the project manager.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.

2) Project Coordination and Management:

  • Collaborate on all aspects of project execution, including scheduling, submittals, procurement, installation, and quality control and close out documentation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.

3) Communication and Collaboration:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to project stakeholders on project status, milestones, and budgetary performance.

4) Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Document project activities, including change orders, RFIs, and project correspondence, to maintain accurate project records.

5) Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Proactively address any project-related issues or conflicts to ensure timely resolution and maintain positive client relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience project coordination or similar role in the flooring or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with project management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Procore) and NetSuite
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
