Flood Pros USA is Hiring a Bookkeeper/Office Manager Near Sarasota, FL

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, managing administrative tasks, and providing support to the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.

Duties:
- Manage all aspects of office operations, including administrative tasks, scheduling, and record keeping
- Handle payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees
- Perform technical accounting duties such as general ledger accounting, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation
- Prepare financial reports and assist with financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
- Provide support to the team by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence
- Oversee office supplies inventory and order necessary items
- Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism

Skills:
- Strong background in accounting and finance
- Proficiency in payroll processing, technical accounting, general ledger accounting, account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial report writing
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Experience with accounting software such as Sage or similar programs
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
