Job Description

We’re seeking a Qualified Sales Rep to help us better support businesses purchasing their day-to-day operation products (think: Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, coffee cups, tapes, ink for printers… pretty much everything office, janitorial, and school supplies related. We sell them through our e-commerce platform and marketplaces). Responsible for marketing office and janitorial supplies within assigned territory

Job Summary:
As an Flipcost Supply Outside Salesperson, you will be responsible for prospecting, acquiring, and managing business clients for our office supply products and services. You will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new clients for our sanitation products and services. You will work in the field to build relationships with businesses in various industries, understand their sanitation needs, and offer tailored solutions to help them maintain clean and hygienic environments. You will work in the field to build relationships with businesses of all sizes, understand their office supply needs, and offer customized solutions to help them optimize their procurement processes. Your goal will be to drive revenue growth by expanding our client base and increasing sales of office supply products and services.

We’re seeking a Qualified Outside Sales Rep to help us grow sustainably by

- Opening new qualified business accounts

- Bidding on government contracts

- Creating and improving our sales and marketing processes/systems

Beyond rapport building, this position requires a professional who has territory sales experience, proven track record, and ability to create and execute a sales growth plan.

  • Represent the company’s products and services, using consumer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of customers
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics
  • Generate leads and build relationships by organizing a daily work schedule to call to prospect new accounts and follow up with existing ones.
  • Develop and implement a territory action plan using comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field

Responsibilities -

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and research potential business clients in various industries and sectors.
  • Utilize various methods such as cold calling, networking events, and referrals to generate leads and establish contact with decision-makers.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE/SALES SKILLS:

  • Project a professional image to customers at all times.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of supply and janitorial products through ongoing personal study and other resources.
  • Self-evaluate personal sales skills and increase knowledge/awareness as needed.

Client Consultation and Needs Assessment:

  • Meet with prospective clients to understand their sanitation/ office supply needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' current office supply processes, inventory levels, and usage patterns.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on office supply solutions, products, and services to meet client requirements and improve efficiency.

Proposal Development and Presentation:

  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and presentations to prospective clients, outlining the benefits and value of our office supply offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as product management and customer service to develop customized solutions and pricing strategies.
  • Address client questions, objections, and concerns in a professional and persuasive manner to secure new business.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Provide ongoing support and communication to clients, ensuring satisfaction with products and services provided.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering guidance on office supply best practices, cost-saving opportunities, and product innovations.

Sales Strategy and Performance:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including pipeline development, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expansion within existing client accounts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
