Job Title Azure Cloud Engineer What does a successful Azure Cloud Engineer do at Fiserv? You will lead large-scale data engineering, integration, and warehousing projects. You will build custom integrations between cloud-based systems using APIs and write complex and efficient queries to transform raw data sources into easily accessible models by using the Data integration tool with coding across several languages such as Java, Python, and SQL. What you will do: Design and architect cloud-based solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness Develop cloud migration strategies and plans for transitioning on-premises systems to cloud environments Collaborate with development and operations teams to define and implement cloud-native architectures Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies, platforms, and services that align with organizational goals Establish and enforce cloud security best practices and compliance requirements Lead cloud infrastructure automation and orchestration efforts using tools like Terraform Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost efficiency and performance Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents What you will need to have: 8 years of experience as a Cloud Architect, with a strong background in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or others) 8 years of experience in leading and mentoring technical teams Cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly desirable In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture design principles, including microservices, serverless, and containerization Expertise in cloud security, identity and access management, and compliance Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience What would be great to have: Exposure and Expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud platform a strong plus Experience with Big Data tools and solutions Experience working with PCI Data and working with data scientists is a plus Experience in Design and architecture review and Banking and Financial domain This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New York or Washington.
