First Service Credit Union is Hiring a Digital Marketing Manager Near Houston, TX

Role: Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager leads the planning, design, and execution of all digital marketing strategies that support the objectives and goals set by Senior Management. This person will deeply understand various digital channels and technologies, playing a pivotal role in driving member engagement and optimizing our digital presence.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Website Management: Lead the website development agency and internal team to improve the website and micro-sites continually. Update and create engaging content, keeping the website current and aligned with the credit unions brand. Develop and execute effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to the credit union's website.
  • Marketing Automation: Design, implement, and manage marketing automation journeys and campaigns for member and product onboarding to enhance member communication and drive engagement. Create targeted and personalized messaging for various member segments.
  • Digital Advertising: Manage outside partner(s) and internal team for paid (SEM, PPC, Display, Video, OTT, etc.) marketing strategy from concept to execution. Identify trends and insights in digital marketing data, optimizing spend and performance based on data-driven insights.
  • Serve as the owner and innovator of the marketing technology stack, including but not limited to Kentico, Acoustic, Cludo, Wave2, Yext, SemRush, Monsido, Poppulo, Google Analytics, Google Looker Studio, Google Search Console. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions that enhance our marketing capabilities.
  • Work with partner(s) and data team to measure and analyze key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives. Provide regular reports and insights to leadership, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Serves on ad-hoc teams for the implementation of new or updated digital initiatives such as digital banking, online account opening, and fintech integrations.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:

1. Meet or exceed the credit union's planned market share, assets, loans, and other product/service objectives as stated in the business plan.

2. Accomplish all assigned projects in accordance with applicable credit union policy and procedures as well as compliance with any state and federal rules and regulations keeping management informed of any problematic areas.

3. Stays current on emerging technology/trends in web-based communications as well as established system capabilities and proactively suggests changes to current delivery and tools; participates in efforts to improve the quality of website and other digital channels as required.

4. Reinforce company culture, providing, accurate service and support to all members and associates.

5. Analyzing large amounts of information and distill key points.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience - Minimum of 7 years of experience in Digital Marketing or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of management experience in Credit Union, Financial Institution, or Marketing industry. Proven experience in collaborating with external vendors. Hands-on experience managing websites developed with Content Management Systems (e.g., Kentico, Sitefinity, Sitecore). Expertise in creating customer journeys and executing email campaigns through Marketing Automation Systems (e.g., Acoustic, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Braze). Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development. Demonstrated proficiency in managing and optimizing paid search campaigns. Strong proficiency in utilizing SEO tools and analytics platforms such as Moz, SEMrush, or similar tools. Skilled in data analysis to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns. Results-oriented approach to achieving marketing objectives.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Proven track record of driving digital marketing strategies that align with business goals.Familiarity with the regulatory environment of the financial industry is a plus. Ability to adapt to evolving trends and technologies in digital marketing

Education - A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field is required.

Interpersonal Skills - Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.

Relevant certifications like Google Ads or Google Analytics are a plus.

Experience with Agile Marketing and project management systems (e.g., Asana) is a plus.
