Pre-Engineered Systems Technician

The Pre-Engineered Systems Technician’s primary responsibilities are in the field performing inspection, maintenance and install related tasks. Assisting customers with their fire extinguisher, e-light, restaurant and industrial system needs, ensuring all equipment is in proper working order and meets the standards set forth by NFPA, and Fireline. The Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining a clean company vehicle and complying with preventative maintenance requirements for the company vehicle. They must be able to speak and write in a clear and legible manner for both customers and coworkers, using communication via mobile phone and email. This role will also be expected to identify lead opportunities in the field and submit leads to the sales staff, they must answer and respond to customer phone calls, and demonstrate punctuality when arriving at scheduled appointments with customers and co-workers.

• Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record to be able to meet specific criteria defined by our vehicle insurance carriers. 
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Be comfortable working in different environments as our technicians work indoors and outdoors. 
• The ability to read, speak, sit, stand, walk, use your hands, reach, climb ladders, and occasionally lift to 50 lbs.
• Show a commitment to quality work. 
• A sense of responsibility for safety and the protection of life and property. 
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members to meet goals. 
• Demonstrate safe handling techniques for high and low-pressure cylinders and assorted chemicals.
• Demonstrate expert familiarity with products to make recommendations to customers.
• Dress in appropriate business attire, demonstrate punctuality, submit purchase receipts, complete a time sheet.
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of basic tools, including but not limited to, screwdriver, hammer, wrench, drill, ladder, personal protective equipment, etc.
• Complete ability to lift at minimum 50 lbs. and climb a ladder at minimum 10 ft.
• In-depth understanding of Fireline’s basic service agreement language, standard price offerings,

**Self-Scheduling Technicians will be required to maintain a daily schedule that supports the goals, requirements and expectations set forth by management.
