Job Description: The Role Do you have an entrepreneurial attitude with a passion for “making things happen” by working across the enterprise? The FI Portfolio Construction Solutions organization is seeking a Vice President of Portfolio Construction Business Development to lead the engagement, entitlement and deployment process of our portfolio construction offerings with broker-dealer home-offices, large RIA aggregators and TAMPs. In addition, the candidate will be responsible to explore and develop opportunities for integration with third-party fintech (e.g., CRM, Financial Planning, Trading) to accelerate the adoption of our PC tools and services. You will make key decisions, identify and remove obstacles, and craft positive relationships to drive focus on business goals. Responsibilities: Relationship Managers: collaborate closely with Clearing, Custody and Investment RMs to develop a segmentation and targeting strategy, client-by-client playbook, lead demos of PQC with home-offices, engage with their functional leads (e.g., Legal, Technology, Product, Sales) to remove objections, and develop/deliver tailored portfolio insights/trends to CIO/Gatekeeper teams Platform Sales: collaborate with Portfolio Solutions teammates and Platform Sales to find opportunities for partnership during the sales process, engage in demos, and positioning of our roadmap/capabilities Fintech: explore integration opportunities with other technology providers within an advisors’ ecosystem that will accelerate PC adoption by providing an outstanding frictionless experience Inform Product Roadmap: bring back voice-of-the-client to advise our strategic multi-year roadmap and (re)prioritize the delivery of our tactical technology roadmap Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Distribution, GTM and L&D teams to craft, execute, and optimize multi-channel campaigns to generate demand and drive new client leads as well as maximize opportunities with existing clients Develop sales enablement and client-facing materials to clearly define the benefits and value proposition of FI's portfolio construction capabilities Engage with clients and prospects at industry events and in sales cycles as a subject matter expert The Expertise and Skills You Bring Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required 5-10 years of proven experience in either technology, product sale or relationship management roles Passion for relationship building and demonstrated ability to effectively market investment or technology products Excellent presentation skills to all types of audiences, including executive leadership, clients, and partners Comfortable navigating ambiguity and able to wear multiple hats - both tactical and strategic Keen reader of people, culture, and tea leaves; builds relationships to make things happen!
