Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative and recovery maintenance to minimize downtime and support production goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Perform preventative and recovery maintenance on manufacturing equipment in accordance with safety and standards

· Work on multiple types of equipment including mechanical, electrical, PLC, and others

· Troubleshoot equipment issues using technical manuals, schematics, and other sources

· Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to minimize downtime with preventative and recovery maintenance

· Create and maintain documentation and user guides to support the production and engineering teams on maintenance requirements for equipment

· Support the training of production and engineering teams to identify, troubleshoot and/or address basic maintenance

· Other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities:

· Troubleshoot equipment using root cause analysis techniques

· Interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation

· Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Must be willing to work weekends and rotating shifts to support troubleshooting and implementing solutions in collaboration with production and engineering

· Demonstrated can-do, will-do approach

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

· Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

· Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced

· Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required for safety

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.50 per hour
