FGM Architects is Hiring a Project Architect/Designer - Fort Worth Near Fort Worth, TX
- On larger projects, works with the project’s Design Lead, assists in implementing the building program, developing creative-design concepts, and preparing presentation and design drawings to communicate design ideas to the client
- On smaller projects, works independently on architectural design and often coordinates project design efforts
- Researches manufacturers’ materials and systems
- Understands the technical implications of design decisions and supports the development and documentation of practical, buildable details
- Represents the firm well in project meetings and industry events and begins to build a professional network of clients, consultants, and peers
- 7 – 12 years of experience; PK-12 project experience is a plus
- Dynamic, creative, and detail-oriented
- Well-organized and able to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills and a solid conceptual design aptitude
- Very proficient in Revit Architecture with experience in both preliminary design and construction drawings documentation
- Knowledge of 3-D modeling and rendering in 3-D modeling software
- Professional degree in architecture from an accredited program
- LEED accreditation preferred
- Architectural licensure preferred; candidates on the licensure track may also be considered
