POSITION: ARCHITECT I - ARCHITECT II

Established in 1945, FGM Architects serves PK-12 Education, Higher Education, Faith-based, Municipal, Public Safety and Recreation, Federal and Corporate clients from our offices in Texas, Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Virginia.

We welcome Architect I or Architect II candidates who are eager to take on the following responsibilities and possess the skills and credentials listed below:

Responsibilities:

Competent in all aspects of architecture while developing the design, implementing the building program, and preparing project documentation appropriate to each phase
Prepares presentation materials to communicate design ideas to the client
Researches manufacturers’ materials and systems
Understands the technical implications of design decisions and leads the development and documentation of practical, buildable details
Represents the firm well in project meetings and industry events and begins to build a professional network of clients, consultants, and peers

Skills and Credentials:

3 – 10 years of relevant experience
Dynamic, creative, and detail-oriented
Well-organized and able to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication and presentation skills and a solid conceptual design aptitude
Proficient in Revit with experience in both preliminary design and construction drawings documentation; knowledge of modeling and rendering in 3-D software (ie: Enscape, Lumion, FormIT)
Licensed to practice architecture
LEED accreditation preferred
