Position Summary

We are seeking a talented project manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with experience managing complex projects. The project manager will be responsible for leading project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring projects are completed successfully. This position is based in Fort Worth, Texas and reports to the Vice President, Technical Services.

Essential Functions

• Lead engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
• Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, and track progress against key milestones
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
• Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
• Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders
• Ensure projects are completed in compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards
• Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
• Participate in project reviews and lessons learned sessions to improve future project execution
• Track and manage capital budget
• Responsible for monitoring compliance with and enhancing a defined Project Process

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering or project management
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) preferred
• Experience working in mining/manufacturing preferred
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and quality standards
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization in a clear and concise manner
• Proficient in budgeting and proposal processes
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated experience as a project manager in mining, manufacturing, construction, industrial or similar environment.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent formal program management training a plus
