Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth for our 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) company. As the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, building and nurturing client relationships, building and developing a high-performing sales team. Your expertise will contribute to our company's continued success in providing comprehensive logistics solutions to clients across various industries.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with the company's growth objectives and market trends.
  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and industry segments for expansion.
  • Analyze competitive landscape and market trends to create innovative sales strategies.

Team Leadership:

  • Leading, coaching, developing, and mentoring to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivated sales culture that encourages teamwork and professional development.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.

  • Leverage market insights to inform strategic decisions and keep the company at the forefront of the industry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of at least 8-10 years in sales leadership roles within the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Strong understanding of 3PL services, supply chain operations, and industry dynamics.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
