The Role
As the IT System Administrator, you will help shape the end-user technology experience at BigCommerce from onboarding on. You will work with key stakeholders at Feedonomics to understand their technology needs and collaborate with them to implement the best solution.You will be in charge of backend systems, including but not limited to, implementing updates, security and compliance changes and adjusting existing protocols and settings to meet team and security demands. You will lead multiple projects to enhance security, compliance and overall user experience, while working with the IT team and all related stakeholders to roll out implementations. You will also serve as a point of contact to assist IT team members with complex issues and escalations.
The Responsibilities
- Work closely with and manage all backend technology systems including Azure, Azure AD (Intune), Google Workspace, Jamf, Okta, GAM etc.
- Manage Feedonomics technology vendors/contractors relationships
- Meet with key stakeholders to understand their technology needs and assist Senior leaders in developing backend system strategies to meet their IT goals
- Training end users on how to use new technologies and experiences
- Manage multiple projects at once
- Procurement of hardware based on refresh schedule and new hire onboarding forecasts
- Procurement of Software and management of renewals as they come up
- Work closely with the IT Helpdesk team as an escalation point for non standard issues and requests
The Requirements
- Genuine desire to stay on top of technology trends, being ever mindful to Feedonomics security policies
- Passionate about working closely with others to understand their needs
- 4 years of Windows and Mac desktop support experience
- 2 years of customer support experience
- Experience working with and managing vendors
- Exceptional ability to provide a high level of support with a customer-first attitude
- Exceptional ability to seek out opportunities to increase internal client satisfaction and deepen client relationships
- Exceptional ability to provide a high level of problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Persistent approach in problem-solving and works with a sense of urgency
- Desire to help and train users so they better understand the solutions we offer
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
