Compensation:

  • In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Role Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to work closely with our IST team, staff, and vendors in assisting the company-wide migration and implementation to the Microsoft 365 platform. You will be responsible for Microsoft 365 administration, including but not limited to supporting our technical support teams, training, and maintenance of the Microsoft 365 platform.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates to integrate the values of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) into all aspects of the organization.
  • Reports any incidents/accidents according to incident reporting procedures and protocols, within designated timelines as outlined in the reporting procedures. Ensures staff is knowledgeable of and adhere to the reporting procedures and protocols.
  • Ensuring the operational health of the Microsoft 365 environment including security, availability, maintenance, performance, interoperability and reliability
  • Maintenance of SharePoint sites and sub sites, lists, libraries, and content (including pages, workflows, items, permissions and access etc.)
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 related issues including connectivity and mobility when alerted by monitoring software or IST staff
  • Involved throughout the lifecycle of (Azure/ Microsoft 365) key projects.
  • Interact daily with IST team to provide and share technical issue resolution knowledge and deployment/adoption best practice processes
  • Training and educating end-users on O365 capabilities and collaboration tools (OneDrive, Teams, OneNote, Outlook etc.)
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation and knowledge base of Microsoft 365 processes and procedures
  • Producing dashboard reports and management information, particularly around the consumption of licenses and resources as well as user adoption of the various components

Qualifications


Education:

  • Associate’s degree or certification from an accredited university or program focused on technology support preferred; OR a minimum of six years of related work experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 
  • O365 Microsoft Administrator Certification a plus

Experience:

  • Experience supporting desktop computing environments, including Microsoft products, Windows, Office365, Active Directory, and other productivity software.
  • Managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX or Microsoft Hyper-V/Virtual Server
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 for an enterprise and working as part of an IT team.
  • Experience in Microsoft 365 migration activities
  • Proven relevant work experience focused on the implementation and/or use of Microsoft 365 and Collaboration technologies.
  • Experience in managing and supporting OneDrive, Teams, OneNote, etc.
  • Experience with Office 365 management tools, such as Intune, Azure, AAD, and the other O365 management portals
