General Summary….
The Project Management Analyst provides analysis for projects and programs across demand portfolio. Ensures adherence to project controls for approvals, prioritization, budget, scope, timekeeping and billing. Collects and analyzes all necessary data including financial and performance indicators.
This position will be responsible for…..
- Collects and analyzes data to ensure adherence to roadmaps, budgets and constraints and provides visibility to IT and business stakeholders.
- Monitor project time, scope, budget and billable rates to ensure alignment with contract and project documentation.
- Execute demand management activities ensuring adherence to prioritization and approval processes
- Utilizes an action register or Kanban board to manage personal and team deliverables and drives results
- Facilitate cross-functional team planning efforts for portfolio demand and budgets.
- Develop executive level presentations for visibility to portfolio demand and related financials
- Works with Finance and functional teams to ensure correct accounting of time and expenses.
- Provides guidance and input on portfolio controls and processes.
- Communicate effectively to all levels of the business organizations.
- Ensures deliverables are met as defined in the statements of work.
- Advocate for best practices and identify/implement them where gaps exist.
- Establishes and manages risk mitigation and issue resolution plans.
- Track and report performance metrics, action items, issues and risks to ensure process consistency across the organization.
- Challenge "business as usual" using a fact-based, objective mindset.
- Prepare status reports and presentations suitable for varied audiences.
- Develop strong working relationships to ensure effective communication across functional areas.

- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred and 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile Project management is desired.
- PMI and / or SAFe certification is preferred.
- Able to work under pressure; producing high quality deliverables while meeting delivery dates
- Must be a motivated, forward thinking individual who is able to work with minimal supervision
- Previous experience leading and controlling multiple projects and project teams both locally and remote is desired.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
- Highly proficient in MS-Office suite
- Able to multi-task across all projects assigned while maintaining an eye for detail.
- Uses good judgment on when to escalate issues and options.
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to see the overall picture.
