Overview:

Federal Screw Works, a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier located in Romulus, Michigan is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance, electrical and mechanical aptitude, and the ability problem solve/troubleshoot issues on the fly. If you have experience with welding and maintaining equipment, and are able to be self driven we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with the leadership team to improve overall maintenance processes

Experience:

- Proven experience in facilities maintenance
- Knowledge of electrical systems and schematics
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
- Ability to weld and fabricate parts as needed

Pay: $27.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
