Education:
- College degree in hospitality management (or related field) or acceptable experience in the industry preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in the hospitality industry, with 2 years of local restaurant marketing and catering management experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with customers and employees.
- Knowledge of computer applications (MS Word, MS Excel, Restaurant Applications)
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
- Knowledge and experience in restaurant management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Positive interpersonal skills required.
- Develop and maintain relationships and communication with key partners in Operations to create effective catering initiatives and serve as the primary point of contact.
- Pursue, develop, and maintain catering leads within the market/region.
- Work with Corporate Marketing Team to provide social media content.
- Provide on-site support when necessary.
- Develops catering campaigns by identifying leads.
- Creatively pursues leads to increase sales.
- Continuously monitors progress and seeks new avenues for growth.
- Shares feedback with management in a timely manner.
- Attends monthly meetings and contributes ideas to improve department.
- Ability to think in terms of building a business rather than just sales.
- Willingness to invest in networking and developing relationships.
- Follows up on every catering order to ensure quality, consistency, and client satisfaction.
