Farm and Home Publishers is the largest rural plat and directory publisher in the United States and is currently seeking an experienced outside advertising sales representative in or around the Cedar Rapids Iowa area.
Our ideal candidate will have prior success calling on small to large businesses, professional firms, family owned companies, ad agencies, preferably within the territory we are hiring for. This outside sales position requires strong closing skills and the ability to prospect for new business. 2 years of outside B2B sales experience preferred. Some overnight travel might be required.
This position will primarily consist of daily travel to renew and upsell existing accounts while also prospecting for new business throughout the territory. You will need to be passionate about the advertising and commercial print industries, be self-motivated, and present yourself professionally in person, over the phone, and electronically.
