This role will bring creativity, experience, and passion for learning to meet the needs of the business through a blended learning platform. The focus will be on corporate and manufacturing learning and development programs for the Fanatics Operations team. There will be a close partnership with the broader Learning and Development team on core initiatives. The Manager of Learning and Development will lead teams to build, coordinate and deliver function-specific training programs while working to continuously improve existing training materials. This role will support manufacturing and fulfillment locations as well as a hybrid model with both fulfillment and manufacturing in the same location.The Manager, of Learning & Development, must be able to lead others and deal with ambiguity and competing priorities.GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Learning and Development•Create, organize, adapt, translate, and execute Learning and Development strategy in partnership with the Operations Team•Partner with Global Learning and Development team to drive consistency in learning opportunities•Support the development of a learning strategy in operations to include a blended approach that elevates performance and productivity•Stay up to date on emerging trends within the Learning and Development space to ensure that appropriate learning platforms are deployed•Execute employee surveys and partner with leaders to understand results and implement action plans•Manage learning management system and track usage•Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to assess needs, develop recommendations, and manage projects to improve the performance of leaders and teams •Direct and manage complex learning projects while identifying process improvement ideas to ensure efficiency and accountability of the team•Ability to translate strategic goals into appropriate development programs while using instructional design expertise, including data analysis, adult learning, curriculum development, and blended learning strategies•Expertise in performance consulting, including the ability to clearly define desired business outcomes and identify when training is the right solution•Identify and set appropriate metrics to measure learning effectiveness, apply and measure results •Evaluate data to effectively measure ROI and identify insights for continuous improvement in relation to business goals •Use key metrics and data to communicate and deliver insights to business leaders•Support a hybrid E-comm building with both fulfillment and manufacturing departments•Drive operational improvements through learning opportunities to increase productivity and first-pass yield•Lead with excellence and foster high-performing teams in virtual environments; develop people through advocacy, coaching, mentoring, and training•Development that emphasizes not just learning, but also self-awareness, growth mindset, and connections to people and fans•Conducts train-the-trainer courses of training material to ensure that all material is understood and delivered in an appropriate manner•Support and drive Diversity and Inclusion efforts of the organization as part of the Human Resources Team•Participates in content reviews with major stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and validity of all training deliverablesEvolve and expand the curriculum, leveraging best practices and future-focused innovations to support Operational goals and deliver for our Fans. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:•Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in leading and managing people in an Operations environment across multiple locations, talent development strategy that incorporates adult learning, and project management•Demonstrate advancement in scope and impact on business operations, tangible results, and continuous learning KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:•Ability to present and facilitate sessions effectively managing group dynamics while encouraging creativity, innovation, and ownership of learning•Excellent relationship-building, interpersonal and influence skills with clients and colleagues•Demonstrates strong business acumen and a track record of success in partnering with business leaders•Ability to manage competing priorities and balance multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and respond quickly to feedback through iterative design•Self-starter with energy and accountability; the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment•Ability to work in and manage ambiguity•Ability to focus on critical issues to balance and respond to competing priorities•Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead projects from inception through implementation while bringing stakeholders alongWORKING CONDITIONS:•This job requires candidates to work and facilitate in a warehouse environment•Flexible availability and open to travel domestically PHYSICAL CONDITIONS: •Must be able to stand 6 to 8 hours per day•May be expected to walk 5 to 10 miles per day•Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Tryouts are open at Fanatics!
