Job Summary

The Dental Regional Manager works closely with Doctor(s), Practice Managers, and other support staff to assure that all aspects of the practices are functioning in an orderly and proficient manner. This includes presenting and monitoring company and practice goals in order to achieve profitability. The Dental Regional Manager communicates the company philosophy through systems, problem solving, and communication. This individual strives to bring out the best in the entire staff, for the benefit of our patients.

This position will be primarily responsible for assigned practices in the SC Lowcountry.

Core Functions

• Track office statistics and profitability using the FDH portal and other reporting tools
• Facilitate team communication with respectful and constructive problem-solving techniques
• When necessary, resolve conflict among team members quickly and fairly
• Consistently and fairly implement and enforce all company policies as outlined in the Policy Manual and Standard Operating Procedures
• Maximize efficiency and productivity by implementing profitable office work schedules.
• Recognize training needs and coordinate with trainer
• Track assigned practice statistics by using FDH website, reviewing and analyzing reports, summarizing information, identifying trends
• Assist Practice Managers in preparing annual budgets, analyzing variances, discussing corrective actions with Chief Officers
• Arrange and coordinate with the Practice Managers for maintenance and repair of physical facility when needed
• Monitor collections for assigned practices
• Report on marketing strategies and referral statistics at staff meetings

Essential Leadership Tasks

• Effectively coach all team members in using the PSLM bonus model
• Supervise and train system implementation
• Respond quickly, fairly, and professionally to team questions, concerns, and problems
• Perform tasks for other office personnel in their absence
• Monitor practice statistics to be used in and at team meetings
• Monitor and work with practice to plan marketing strategies
• Coordinate training of new team members
• Provide documentation on performance and disciplinary issues of teach team member
• Effectively communicate with Doctor(s) and Practice Managers
• Communicate passionately to the team the vision and the values of FDH daily
• Coach, support, and inspire team members to achieve peak performance each day in order to meet daily practice goals

Qualifications

• High school diploma with at least two years of experience in management
• Prior experience in dental office management and the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for travel between practices
• Denticon experience preferred
