Families First of Minnesota has 1 full-year, part-time Mentor Coach/ Early Head Start Specialist position available at its Freeborn County Office in Albert Lea, MN. This positions will provide on-the-job guidance, coaching, training, and technical assistance to the classroom teaching staff and work with program staff to improve the quality of teaching; assist programs to promote positive, significant, and sustained outcome for children and promote career development for teaching staff. These positions will support the family service requirements for all families enrolled in the assigned child care partner sites.

These exempt positions are scheduled 20 hours/week, Monday-Friday between 7 A.M.- 4:30 P.M. Compensation for this position starts at $27.32/hour. Benefits include 403(b) Retirement Savings, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.

Our Mentor Coach/ Early Head Start Specialist will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and three to five years of teaching experience in Head Start OR equivalent education and experience. Extensive knowledge of Early Childhood, learning and development and classroom instruction research. Experience in family support and home visiting are required. A valid driver’s license is needed.
