Eligibility Specialist

Families First of Minnesota has a full-time, full-year Eligibility Specialist position available in its Head Start program in Rochester, MN. The primary responsibility of this position is to determine categorical eligibility for families applying to the Early Head Start, Early Head Start Child Care Partnerships and Head Start programs.

This non-exempt position is scheduled 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday between 8 A.M.- 4:30 P.M. Compensation for this position starts at $21.38/hour. Benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurances, Long-Term Disability and 403(b) Retirement Savings, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays and personal holidays.

Our Eligibility Specialist will have a high school diploma with administrative assistant or income eligibility experience, an Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience as required by DHS Rule 3. Experience working with families is preferred.
