Business Development Analyst - Government

Full-Time
Location Details Philadelphia, PA - Hybrid/Remote ( less than 25% travel)

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000
What You'll Do

As part of the Business Development - Government team, you'll play a versatile role in customer acquisition and tracking. This position offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where you'll have the chance to broaden your skill set across diverse areas. You'll work closely with a multi-disciplinary team, benefit from ample mentorship opportunities, and collectively strive toward achieving our defined objectives.
Here's a snapshot of what your job would look like:

  • Research new opportunities, and cascade research findings with Business Development and Capture Managers.
  • Document, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures, identify process gaps, and propose solutions to remediate issues with pipeline management.
  • Support full lifecycle government business development, from opportunity inception through execution, encompassing tasks such as proposal submission and generating quotations, among others.
  • Contribute to the preparation of materials for government team meetings and help ensure the achievement of milestones.
  • Manage and maintain the Government sales pipeline.
  • Coordinate trade show events and material preparation with the Marketing team.
  • Develop metrics-based reports and dashboards on sales, contract awards, and Gov Ops growth using visualization tools.
  • Partner with stakeholders to scope internal projects and initiatives, delivering results on time, and at a high-quality bar.

What We're Looking For

When reviewing resumes, we'll be looking for:

  • A minimum of 3 years working in a direct or similar function within federal, state, or local government.
  • Experience with data reporting and analysis, market research, and/or proposals,
  • Experience with CRM tools, business development platforms such as Deltek GovWinIQ, and business development methodologies like Shipley tools.
  • Excellent competency in Microsoft Office Suite use, (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams etc.)

Job Level Information

We have developed a comprehensive career leveling framework comprising of 10 levels, which clearly delineate the scope of responsibilities and the required skillset, experience, and behavioral competencies for each level. For this particular position, we are seeking a candidate at either JOB LEVEL 2 or JOB LEVEL 3 within our job level framework.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is from $85,000 to $95,000, commensurate with the job level attained.
