RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC This position can sit in either:St. Louis Park, MNFort Mill, SCDallas, TXThe Azure Infrastructure Engineer will be designing, implementing, and managing on-premise and cloud-based solutions. This position is a part of our Infrastructure Team and responsibilities span both on-premises infrastructure with an understanding and experience in Cloud management (Azure, AWS, etc). Your expertise in designing, implementing managing, and optimizing Cloud and On-Prem solutions will play a crucial role in our success, as you adhere to industry best practices and drive robust and reliable outcomes.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide high quality, responsive and consistent resolutions to IT Incidents.Ownership of systems.Improvements to system efficiency.Support and maintenance of server infrastructure (On-Prem/Cloud).Disaster recovery.Dealing with technical migrations (e.g. Azure migration).Technical de-bugging.Analysis of infrastructure and web applications.Server administration.Technical and administrative workloads.Assisting with the infrastructure support queue, ensuring all tickets are resolved/fulfilled within SLA and customer satisfaction targets and other KPIs are achieved.Work closely with various vendors, driving the resolution of incidents and fulfilment of requests. Qualifications/RequirementsStrong “Full-stack” experience. Candidate should be well-versed in the entire flow of data through an infrastructure stack and have a solid understanding of how information is passed through each part of the environment. Candidate will be expected to assist in providing solutions that encompass secure, optimized results at all levels of an environment. Windows server experienceStrong understanding of Active Directory topologies and how sites interconnect.Strong understanding of File Sharing Technologies including (NTFS, DFS, FTP, and Backups).Strong understanding of group policies and how to troubleshoot advanced GPO application issues for servers and clients.Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting for server performance, authentication errors, Kerberos, IIS, and networking issues.SCCM Experience a plus.VMware Infrastructure experienceCandidates should be familiar with configuring ESX, HA Clustering, vSwitches, DRS, and Storage, and should be capable of VMware troubleshooting.O365/Azure administration experienceStrong understanding of cloud technologies; cloud networking, compute and policy.Ability to troubleshoot mail flow issues (internal connectors or SMTP inbound/outbound)Ability to perform migrations to Office 365 from other platformsAbility to configure Intune, MFA, Conditional access policies, and SharePointAzure Cloud Infrastructure experienceCandidate should be familiar with Deploying new infrastructure and performing troubleshooting. Experience with Templates/Automation with examples is a bonus.Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell, VBScript, batch) – Specific Examples are a bonus.Candidate should be familiar with Disaster Recovery processes. Experience with Zerto, Azure Site Recovery, or VMware SRM is a plus. Documentation and TrainingAssist in the creation and maintenance of documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures. Provide training and guidance to team members on design, implementation, and troubleshooting.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and operations, to ensure alignment of infrastructure with organizational goals. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.Contribute to and maintain system, installation, and configuration standards and procedures.Comply with internal and external security controls and procedures.Approach technical issues with a "root cause discovery" approach.Other related duties as assigned.Education/ExperienceBachelor's or master's degree in IT or related technical field (i.e., Computer Science, Engineering) and/or 5 years IT support experience.3 years of experience in design, implementation, and support of high-availability systems.Intermediate or advanced level technical certification(s) preferred.RoundPoint’s Employee Value Proposition:Grow.
