Trissential is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our client team in St Paul, MN (Hybrid) - onsite two to three days per week.

Responsibilities

The client is preparing for an operational change in migrating an entire business unit. The Project Manager will provide assistance to develop and implement a transition plan to move all personnel, applications and other resources to a stand alone unit. This will be done in two phases; the first will be to move the hemp-derived cannabinoid product in July 2024 and the rest of the operations on or about March 1, 2025. 

The PM will oversee and support the client team in forming, training and transitioning operations. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, familiarity with state regulatory authority and responsibilities and experience or familiarity with cannabis policy and regulation.

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Lead project planning and execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to convey project goals, expectations, and updates.
• Employ strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and find creative solutions to keep projects on track.
• Manage project resources efficiently, including personnel, budget, and materials, to achieve project objectives.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, encouraging open communication and leveraging the strengths of each team member.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, adapting plans and strategies as needed to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Maintain accountability for project deliverables, taking ownership of decisions and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong project management skills, familiarity with state regulatory authority and responsibilities and experience or familiarity with cannabis policy and regulation.
• Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and manage stakeholders.
• Strong leadership abilities, with a passion for motivating and inspiring teams to achieve their best.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

• 7 years of professional experience as a Project Manager
• Ability to organize, prioritize and delegate
• Proven success in operating in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in project management tools
• Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes

Benefits

This role offers salary commiserate with experience up to $135,000 annually, health care benefits, 3 weeks PTO, and 401k with matching.
