Vivacity Tech is Hiring a Project Manager Near Paul, MN

The Project Manager will oversee all external projects related to customers with special requests. The Project Manager is responsible for defining project scope and objectives, coordinating activities of a project team, and identifying resources. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures and adheres to quality standards and project deliverables.

While no day will be completely the same, you will execute daily responsibilities in these various functions:

  • Determine and define onsite project scope and objectives.
  • Lead and manage onsite projects for new and existing clients utilizing best practices based on client profile and requested services.
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Establish and manage comprehensive project plans with communication cadence and progress checkpoints, addressing potential needs proactively where possible and reactively where necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a continuous understanding of client goals, deadlines and challenges, lead changes in approach as necessary.
  • Implement according to Vivacity standards and be flexible enough to meet the needs of assigned clients.
  • Manage initial scope of work and be responsible for addressing scope changes to meet client needs.
  • Builds expert level knowledge of company products and services and may be tasked to introduce new products.
  • Prepare and track budget based on scope of work and resource requirements; ensure that budgeted expenses are incorporated into the bid for the customer.

  • Extremely proficient with Google Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Ability to work independently

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • 5-8 years of project management and related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
