- Job title : Health & Safety Assistant
- Location : Kent, WA
- Pay : $27.00 an hour
- Shift : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00am to 4 : 00pm
The Health and Safety Assistant is responsible for assisting the Health and Safety Manager in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of employees and the compliance of the company with relevant safety regulations.
They will be responsible for assisting with safety audits, training programs, incident investigations, and safety reporting.
The Health and Safety Assistant will work closely with employees and management to promote a safety culture within the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Health and Safety Manager in developing, implementing and maintaining safety programs, policies, and procedures
- Conduct safety audits, inspections and assessments to identify and address safety hazards and risks
- Assist in investigating safety incidents, accidents and near misses, and prepare reports on findings and recommendations
- Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs to employees
- Maintain safety records and databases, and prepare safety reports for management
