Job Overview:

EVPassport is seeking a Director of PR, Marketing to play a pivotal role in establishing and driving our marketing initiatives within the dynamic EV (electric vehicle) infrastructure industry. The Director of PR, Marketing will bring a strategic outlook and report directly into the CEO, and serve as a trusted leader to the broader team. The ideal candidate will be able to forge meaningful PR relationships within the tech and EV ecosystem, and be responsible for building impactful marketing strategies that amplify EVPassport's brand and resonate with our target audience (B2B2C). In order to be considered for this position, candidates must be located in the Boston area.

You Will:

• PR & Communications: Chart the course for comprehensive PR and strategic partnerships that resonate with our mission, and form meaningful relationships within the tech and EV ecosystem (media outlets, influencers, and industry stakeholders) to elevate and amplify our brand's visibility, reach, and reputation, and curate compelling narratives with a personalized approach. You will also cover:
  • Primary contact for media relations
  • Draft, distribute, and track press releases
  • Actively engage with both mainstream and technology / EV media outlets to secure press coverage and build new communication opportunities to position EVPassport as the leader in the industry
  • Executive key correspondence and response
• Brand Strategy & Experience: Develop and implement branding strategies that resonate with our target audience, ensuring that every touchpoint reflects EVPassport's brand values, creates a memorable experience, and tells a story (i.e. EVPassport's unique journey and technological advancements), and manage content updates to corporate website.
• Strategic Outlook: Conduct relevant market research to measure brand reputation, monitor trends, and adjust the brand strategy as appropriate. Provide strategic foresight to anticipate industry shifts and capitalize on emerging trends, ensuring our marketing efforts remain ahead of the curve.
• Leadership: Curate thought leadership opportunities and provide guidance and direction to senior leaders and the EVPassport team on any external facing material (presentations, social media, events, press releases, etc.) to ensure proper representation of the EVPassport brand. Own and execute on all other day-to-day marketing operations as dictated by the business.

You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven track record in PR, ideally within the EV or SaaS domain.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a knack for storytelling.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Affinity for leading with a personalized approach and empathy.
• Adeptness in engaging in constructive dialogue and challenging others' ideas.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, navigating ambiguity with grace and agility.

Salary: $130,000-$160,000 | Placement within this base salary range depends upon several factors, including prior relevant job experience and skill set.
