Overview:

Evolve Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team providing support in a Seaford, DE long term care center. As a CNA, you will provide essential support to residents and assist with their daily activities. Duties:

• Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Help patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
• Assist in feeding patients and ensure they receive proper nutrition
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
• Follow all healthcare protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
• Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure high-quality care for patients

Skills:

• Experience in senior care, working with people with developmental disabilities, or pediatric care is preferred
• Knowledge of basic life support techniques
• Familiarity with medical records and medical office procedures
• Experience in memory care is a plus
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Cerner is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
