Eversheds Sutherland US LLP is Hiring a Digital Designer Near Atlanta, GA

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Designer in the Atlanta, Chicago, New York and Washington, DC office at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP. We are searching for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team of lawyers, paralegals and business professionals.

The Digital Designer, Marketing is a member of the Creative Team responsible for utilizing a variety of design tools to develop innovative client-facing materials that showcase the firm, practice groups, sectors and offices. This key role requires a high level of experience, skill and professionalism. A smart, strategic mindset is key to success at Eversheds Sutherland, as is an eagerness to learn and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develops and designs all phases of assigned graphics and desktop production projects from initial concept through final production.
  • Creates visual concepts, using various computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers.
  • Able to adapt and learn leading edge design technologies, providing project direction and applicable design talent, with an emphasis on high volume work. Proficiency with major graphic design, video and digital software including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft programs. Experience with web interactive software like Ceros or Foleon would be a plus.
  • Sets the bar for creative excellence and maintains consistency with oversight and execution of projects. Projects include, but are not limited to brochures, e-publications, logos, newsletters, charts, presentations, invitations, event materials, marketing collateral, e-marketing campaigns, and web graphics.
  • Thinks strategically in support of the Creative Manager to further creative concepts and communication strategies across reach of the brand.
  • Adheres to the Firm’s established standards for branding and unique identity in the marketplace, assisting CPD in applying graphic standards internally and externally.
  • Understands creative process, color theory and typography as well as interactive, digital design and video storytelling.
  • Leads design process for client-facing experience, providing proven pitch ideas and presenting design concepts confidently.
  • Works across numerous projects with competing deadlines and effectively prioritize deliverables.
  • Leads projects throughout digital brand design, including brand development, logos, and 360 marketing campaigns.
  • Works collaboratively and inclusively with other team members to pitch ideas and brainstorm during the execution of final design concepts, providing input to ensure an effective result.
  • Works with the Client and Practice Development (CPD) team to ensure projects adhere to the Firm’s style standards and are correct and accurate.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, preferably with an emphasis in graphic design.
  • A minimum of eight years of professional graphic design experience is required, preferably in a large multi-office professional services environment, corporate industry or a brand or agency environment.
  • Must have outstanding organization and project management skills, including the ability to multi-task, manage priorities and resources, and work in a proactive manner on tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate creativity and excellent technical skills in all aspects of graphic design including concepts, typography, imagery, color, and layout are required.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Graphic design, photo editing, video editing) and Microsoft Office.
  • Must fully understand and have experience in incorporating analytic components in digital experiences.
  • Must be accomplished in determining ways to capture complex material in an easy to understand visual format.
  • Client-focused mindset with a commitment to exceeding expectations.
  • Adaptability and agility in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Prior experience building integrated marketing campaigns for multiple strategies and product groups.
  • Experience in advertising, marketing, corporate identity, brand management, sales promotion, and new media communication.
  • Possess a digital portfolio or samples of work listed on resume demonstrating mastery in art direction, visual design, or similar.
  • Requires excellent attention to detail. Effective communication skills, verbal and written, are required.
  • Ability to work with a variety of individuals and build effective working relationships within and outside of the firm is needed.
  • Must be able to work with or without direct supervision, knowing when to consult and when to decide.
  • Experience working with design vendors is preferred, to include requesting estimates, sending jobs to print, and the print production process.

This is a hybrid role and will require on-site presence 3 days per week. Salary is commensurate with years of relevant experience & geographic location. The range for this position is $59,500-$114,100.
