Title: Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Reports To (Title): Director of Procurement

Base pay: $40k - $50k bonus

General Summary: This position is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of products into and out of the warehouse, accurate administration of the inventory control system, and maintenance of the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Manage shipping & receiving work flow to optimize safety and efficiency. Pick, package, palletize and ship orders in a timely manner on a daily basis. Receive product deliveries and ensure completeness and accuracy; enter into system and move product to appropriate warehouse location.
• Manage and maintain product inventory using a software program with a min/max system and general reasoning. Initiate purchase orders and track incoming products
• Repair pallets, construct / repair crates, perform general carpentry tasks, etc.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the facility’s interior and exterior.
• Maintain warehouse / inventory sections of procedures manual to ensure documentation is updated, resulting in consistent performance of routines when absent.
• Perform a full range of basic to moderate administrative assignments involving mathematic skills and the use of judgment and discretion.
• Manage projects/schedules and meet all deadlines.
• Assist other employees, as needed, and actively and positively contribute and interact as a team member.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule/Hours: This is a full-time position with standard schedule of Monday-Friday from 8:0AM to 4:30PM. Some early morning, evening and weekend work may be required infrequently.

Qualifications

Education:

• Minimum of High School diploma or G.E.D.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year warehouse/inventory experience with demonstrated knowledge of warehouse and office methods, equipment, procedures and practices.
• Minimum of 1 year experience positively participating as a team member.

Required Certification/Licensure:

• Valid NYS Driver’s License

Required Skills:

• Ability to use hand and power equipment, including shipping scale, 2-wheel cart/dolly, forklift truck (propane fueled), hydraulic pallet jack, basic hand and power tools (e.g. hammer, saw, screw gun, shovel, etc.). Will train to drive forklift truck, if necessary.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds by hand.
• Ability to accurately perform standard mathematic functions including tracking and comparing data and calculating inventory reorder quantities and projections.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to read and write English language with thorough knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Proficient in use of internet (emails, searches) and office computer software including Word and Excel. Ability to use office equipment including: telephone, copier, scanner, fax, computer, and printer.
• Day to day work is performed with responsibilities requiring independent judgement. General instruction is provided for new or unusual assignments. Demonstrated independence and initiative are required.
• Demonstrated positivity and team player.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
