Qualifications

Knowledge, skills, education, and/or experience:High school degree or equivalent, 5 years of Sorting, files, and maintains alphabetical, numerical, experience as file clerk and Knowledge of filing systems

Mandatory skills/certification(s) Requirement: Attention to detail, mail, data entry, phones, back up

Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages.
2. Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
3. Sorts, files, and maintains alphabetical, numerical, and subject filing systems.
4. Types forms, memoranda, and other copy material.
5. Gathers specified information and compiles routine reports.
6. May enter data into computer system.
7. knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
8. Operates varied types of office machines and equipment.
9. Opens, time stamps, sorts, numbers, and distributes mail.
10. Keeps files up to date.
11. Create or update records with new files and information
