We are searching for a motivated & experienced Regional Sales Manager

Responsible for execution of company sales strategies. Daily responsibilities include profitable sales growth, presenting new products, meeting sales quotas, setting quarterly and annual sales goals and other KPIs. Directs and coordinates the promotion of sales and of the relative products by means of promotions. Regional Sales Manager will present new products, organize sales quotas, and set quarterly and annual sales goals, and other KPIs. Individual role with no direct reports. 

 ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  •  Leads the increased sales growth, profitability and strategy and execution for the sales region.
  • Develops and maintains top relationships with key customers.
  • Leads the execution of all customer agreements/programs through strong teamwork and communication with Customers, Distributors and Broker/partners.
  • Performs broker training, and broker performance evaluations to develop sales programs to obtain the optimum quality of product.
  • Travels to different area locations to set up product presentations, bake off product, set-up promotional shows, seminars, or to resolve customer complaints or problems as needed.
  • Reviews sales statistics with management to determine customer needs and help to develop sales campaigns to accommodate goals of company.
  • Represents Company at trade association meetings, or other functions to promote the sale of product.
  • Responsible for maintaining CRM within customer base and new sales prospects.
  • Attends company scheduled meetings when applicable
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required

In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:

  • Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments. Must follow all Company Safety policies, as well as all GMP regulations and all lock-out/tag-out requirements according to OSHA requirements.
  • As an employee you must also be aware of issues associated with food safety and safe food handling practices that are relevant to your job. Formal training is not required, but in house Food Safety Training conducted by a qualified staff member is mandatory. You must know how to recognize, prevent and alleviate food safety hazards. This position requires good working knowledge of the SQF code

QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  Bachelor’s degree, plus 10 years sales experience in food industry, working with customers and brokers, with 5 of those years experience in food service market place. Focus on corporate headquarters customer personnel. Commercial bakery experience a plus.
